'Heaven-sent' housing will accommodate people with disabilities
A new partnership at The Standard in Tallahassee offers inclusive housing for adults with intellectual disabilities.
A different housing solution for individuals with disabilities is being woven into a Tallahassee apartment complex for the first time in the capital city.
In late August, a partnership between the Best Buddies Living Program and developers of The Standard − a massive apartment venture on West Virginia Street built in 2019 − will open up two quads in the complex for eight future tenants, where four of them are individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities..
