Broward County aims to capitalize on the economic benefits of the FIFA World Cup. To that end, it has organized a six-week series of events, which kicked off in Lauderhill this Saturday, June 6. The coming weekends will feature free events in Hollywood, West Park, Lauderdale Lakes, and North Lauderdale. The county is home to large communities from the Caribbean and Haiti, who are excited about the sporting event.
