Seventy-four-year-old Dusty Ray Spencer is scheduled to receive a lethal injection starting Thursday evening at Florida State Prison near Starke for killing his wife, Karen Spencer, in 1992. If carried out as planned, the execution would be Florida’s ninth this year after a record 19 executions in the state in 2025. Republican Gov.
