Girl Scouts of Tropical Florida is proud to announce that 11 Girl Scouts from Miami-Dade and Monroe counties have earned the Girl Scout Gold Award, the highest honor in Girl Scouting. The honorees were recognized at Girl Scouts of Tropical Florida’s 2026 Highest Awards Ceremony on June 7 at the Jorge Mas Canosa Youth Center, where they were celebrated alongside family members, community leaders, volunteers, and alumni.
The Gold Award is available to Girl Scouts in high school who create sustainable changes in a community or world issue. …
