The superintendent of the Los Angeles Unified School District resigned Sunday evening as a federal investigation looms over his tenure leading the second-largest public school district in America.
LAUSD superintendent Alberto Carvalho resigned effective June 21, according to the Los Angeles Times . In his letter, he didn’t directly mention the federal investigation or the FBI raid of his office and home in late February, but alluded to distractions impeding his work. …
