I thought it was amusing when the NCAA baseball playoffs began and I was perusing the regional brackets. There was the Los Angeles regional, Atlanta, Tallahassee, Lincoln, Eugene and — wait for it — Morgantown. The regional for WVU was a real Chamber of Commerce moment for Morgantown.
It showed how good the team was, of course. A lot of those guys are going to end up in the majors. Until then, they’ll enjoy their NIL haul.
