Auto accidents causing pedestrian deaths remains an incessant issue for the United States, but a new report provides a glimmer of optimism in Volusia and Flagler counties.
"Dangerous By Design," a biennial report by the nonprofit Smart Growth America, compares communities based on pedestrian fatality rates, and names Deltona-Daytona Beach-Ormond Beach as 14th worst in the United States.
