Jacksonville’s $2.06 billion General Fund budget is even more bloated with unnecessary spending than originally thought, according to Florida’s Chief Financial Officer.
And that’s a good illustration of why the state needs to pass a constitutional amendment increasing the homestead exemption on property taxes to $250,000, he argued Monday in Jacksonville.
