The race for the seat left empty by the late Carol Ann Felts is now a six-way Republican scramble — a District 1 field that includes “lectern guy” Adam Johnson alongside a slate of local names — while Tara Poulton leads the money race in the countywide District 6 contest to succeed at-large Commissioner Jason Bearden , and incumbents Amanda Ballard and Mike Rahn head into GOP Primaries of their own.
