Miami-Dade’s top elected official is throwing her weight behind County Commissioner Oliver Gilbert’s bid for Florida’s 24th Congressional District.
Mayor Daniella Levine Cava has endorsed Gilbert over other current and former colleagues — including Miami Gardens Sen. Shevrin Jones and former Miami-Dade Commissioner Jean Monestime — in the Democratic Primary for CD 24.
