Major South Florida roadways were closed and around 200 residents evacuated Wednesday as a brush fire in western Miami-Dade County had burned thousands of acres and a second blaze worsened the smoky conditions.
Miccosukee Police said Krome Avenue was shut down in both directions due to the brush fires that continued to burn and grow in size.
