Florida Highway Patrol says 19-year-old Olivia Rios-Papillo threatened to shoot a driver unless he paid $50 after a June 4 crash in Kendall.
What started as a routine fender bender in Kendall turned into a terrifying shakedown, according to state troopers. A 19-year-old Miami-Dade woman was arrested Thursday after investigators say she threatened to shoot another driver unless he sent her $50 following a crash near State Road 94 and Southwest 152nd Avenue on June 4.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the shaken driver told officers he feared for his life before transferring $50 to a passenger in the other car. …
