Tax Collector on Property Tax

Following Governor Ron DeSantis’ recent announcement calling for major property tax relief measures ahead of the upcoming Florida Special Session, Miami-Dade County Tax Collector Dariel Fernandez issued the following statement:

“Let me be clear. For too long, Florida families have felt like they are working harder every year just to keep up with rising property taxes, rising insurance costs, rent, and everyday expenses. Meanwhile, property values continue climbing and government revenues continue growing.
