Miami-Dade County Tax Collector Dariel Fernandez recently announced a major reform to the Miami-Dade County tax certificate sale process aimed at ensuring fairness and leveling the playing field for all participants.
The new single bidder registration system prevents participants from using multiple affiliated bidding entities to gain an unfair advantage during tax certificate sales. Under the updated process, bidders now are limited to a single registered bidding account structure, creating a more transparent and equitable marketplace for investors of all sizes.
