NewsBusters Podcast: Elitist Media Snobbery Overflows, from UFC to JD
NewsBusters Podcast: Elitist Media Snobbery Overflows, from UFC to JD The effete snobs of the leftist media were on full display as they lamented the "despicable vulgarity" of President Trump hosting a UFC event on the White House lawn. MS NOW host Lawrence O'Donnell insisted Marco Rubio compared Trump's "despicable vulgarity" of the UFC event to JFK talking about putting men on the moon. Actually, Rubio was referring to the imagination of UFC head honcho Dana White. NewsBusters Associated Editor Nick Fondacaro and MRC Video content creator Nick Kangadis discussed everything from the UFC to JD. The ladies of The View fussed about interviewing Vice President Vance as part of a book tour for his book about his faith journey, titled Communion. In the last few months, The View attacked Vance for suggesting he'd like his Hindu wife to become a Christian -- and these conspiracy theorists also kookily claimed Vance and Elon Musk were plotting to kill Trump. You can tell the leftists are authoritarians when they proclaim "billionaires shouldn't exist." Their money should be confiscated for the "public good." So Elon Musk becoming a trillionaire on paper after the initial public offering of SpaceX was sure to spark a tizzy in the leftist media. If any Americans are designated as billionaires, they can go Full Soros and fund the leftists, and then they are "admirable" philanthropists. But Elon funded Trump's campaign for president and then ran the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) effort, so he's like a Darth Vader figure. Graham Platner displayed the Left's double standard on billionaires in a recent campaign speech. He'd overrule the Citizens United precedent finding a free-speech right to fund campaigns, and "if a billionaire looked at a TV ad the wrong way we’d put them in jail.” We can all guess from the Elon Musk press coverage what defines "the wrong way." Then Fondacaro updated us on Zachary Young's ongoing defamation suits, against AP and Puck.com. A highly anticipated ruling by the Florida Supreme Court ensured the defamation suit would get revived on appeal. And just days after telling Florida’s First District Court of Appeal to ignore the AP’s own stylebook in the case, the newswire’s lawyer wanted the court to ignore the Supreme Court’s ruling as well.
